Comfortable, supportive in the right places! Feels much sturdier than most office chairs I've ever sat in.I just wonder why they didn't start making these until the demand for gamers came up. Oh well, I needed a really good one to work all day and not have pain in lower back, hips & legs. Pain doesn't come back while using this comfy seat!WhY not 5 stars? Tipping hazard. Pull leg/foot rest out and recline back... my hubs tested and before getting the seat back reclined fully, two or three wheels at front were raised off the floor. Yikes! I wont be doing extreme reclining, so it won't effect me, but if you want stability at full-reclining, beware!Fit’s good in my roomI bought this chair to replace a 2 year old office chair that wasn't up to the task of my gaming and home office needs. The chair arrived quickly, and while the box had some wear and tear from shipping, the contents of the box were well packed and in perfect condition.I unpacked the box, looked over the instructions, and set about building this new cradle for my derriere. The instructions are very clear, well drawn line illustrations with no text other than a parts list and number identifiers. It took me about 40 minutes to put the chair together, and most of the time I felt as if I was assembling an easy lock Transformer. The chair is chonky, and the heft of it lets you know that it means business. The heft helps give the chair stability, something that I appreciate. After completing the build, I had the chair sitting in my dining room, and I tried it out for a few minutes, testing the lever functions for chair height and reclining. I never once felt off balanced as I reclined the chair, even without the footrest extended. Once I did extend the footrest, and leaned back to fully relax....This chair knew that I had done a good job building it. Like I was with myself, the chair was proud of me. It held my reclined form and cooed softly in my ear. It whispered sweet, breeze-like sounds of adulation into my soul. what had started as a momentary test of some furniture's strength and stability turned into almost an hour and a half of this chair holding me gently as the craziness of this world, if but for a moment, drifted away. This chair is comfy, folks. I've got a regular recliner in the living room, and I gave serious thought to replacing it with this chair. It's incredibly well padded, and the frame itself is extra wide. I'm a short, dense, stocky dude, and this chair was up to the task of keeping me aloft without complaint. The chair is rated for 330 pounds, and at 250, I'm well within those specs with no fear whatsoever that there will be a stress failure. The chair comes with detachable lumbar and neck pillows that do the job, though I find if I'm sitting up straight, I don't want the neck pillow. If I'm reclined, the lumbar and neck pillows are added comfort.I paid full price plus shipping for this chair, and I was afraid I'd have buyer's remorse once I got it assembled. This is not the case. I'm extremely satisfied with the quality of the chair, and feel that I paid a fair price for it (I mean, if you can get it for cheaper, why not? But as is, this is a great value). If you're wanting a gaming chair that's sturdy, and has a modern/futuristic look to it, this is a great chair. If you're wanting a chair that you can recline in to watch a movie or listen to music and nap, this is a great chair. If you want a chair that can do BOTH??? You're nuts, but so is this chair, because it can, and does so with aplomb! The color of the legs isn’t the same shade of purple as the color of the seat itself, but otherwise it’s nice.I have gotten zero support. Chair broke in less than one year reached out for any help but was ghosted. 2 year warranty my a**. The main support broke at the weld and I fell off. This ripped the seat. I was very lucky to not be hurt. It’s a fine chair. BUT, before you buy this you should pray to whatever deity you pray to that the gas canister that allows your chair to go up and down doesn’t need to be replaced. Mine did, and the damn thing REFUSED to get out. I ended up breaking the chair.A part was missing, the cover to the Gas Spring, not a reel issue.Very easy to assemble. My son likes itFirst and best, this seems to be an extremely sturdy built and heavier duty chair than others I have purchased previously. Directions and assembly are very easy to understand to quick complete the process. The chair has descent back and neck support although the back support has no stable way to keep it in any position. (Unsupported back pillow must be positioned every time you get into the chair) The pillow at the top is supported in place by an elastic strap that is on an angled surface. While new you will find it works fine now but, from past experience with such design you will find the strap will lose its elasticity and even tightening it won’t keep it in place. It will require the purchaser to figure out how to keep it in place as it begins to fail and ultimately will fail.Controls for setting chair height and the reclining positioning leaves a lot to be desired. First controls should be placed on opposite sides to keep the user from accidentally tripping the wrong release. Second they are way too low to make adjustments while you are in a position you want to be in to make the adjustments. This is something most all other manufactures know so it is odd this could be ignored with this design? The biggest issue is the seat. Understand if you choose to recline you will be putting a big load on your tail bone. Padding is almost non-existent and the further back you recline the more weight in put on the tail bone. When you are young it won’t be noticeable until you have used it allot but, the more you use it you will start feeling the effects to your tail bone being more sore. I felt it same day because I have fought with back pain for years. The reason for the loading is because the back rest reclines but, the seat itself never tilts to stay contoured with the body.I’ll give it a few more days but, I think I may have to return the product at this point.I would recommend you take another look around the vast amount of other gaming chairs out there on amazon.I've had this chair for about a month now, and it's already starting to show signs of damage, as well as being generally annoying in terms of bad adjust-ability (it barely moves more than half an inch up or down)The amount of noise that comes out of this chair is just ridiculous. Literally anything you do in this chair it will creak unbearably. The leather-like material also doesn't help with that, as it will constantly rub with the other components and make loud squeaking sounds. It overall feels like it already on the verge of breaking. On top of that, the comfort of this chair feels like you're sat on a rock. I had to buy an extra seat cushion for it or my legs would start to go numb after 30 minutes. If you are brave enough to buy this, I would definitely recommend keeping the box with it so you can return it when it lets you down.Had this chair roughly 6 months now and sadly can't recommend. It now creaks like mad, rocks left/right from the centre pillar with no way to tighten and arm rest padding is pretty hard now.I bought it for PC gaming and instantly had issue with chair dimensions, the arm rest were 3 inches below my desk with the chair height maxed out, very uncomfortable. (my desk is 29 inches / 74cm tall)The chair seat is also very deep it feels like I'm too far away from my keyboard and I'm unable to get it closer as the arm rests hit a draw under my desk.I also feel the reclining leaver sits too far away, if I want to make a small adjustment I can't reach and have to lean over to reach it losing my relaxed position. (I am a 6ft male)I've no replaced to caster wheels simply to raise the chair to my desk and added padding to arm rests to raise and improve comfortThis is a comfortable chair once reclined but feel this is not really for a desk. The chair itself is fine, comfortable to sit on. Is always too low even at highest point. The back wobbles a little, still usable and comfortable to use. The foot rest can't support any weight, the plastic broke from just the weight of feet, even after being careful with it, lasted a long time by mostly not using it and putting pressure on the back end of the foot rest since its connected more securely.A year later now- to update every part has a problem. footrest broke, chair itself broke forward. This chair WILL break if you buy it.Had it for just over a year and it hasn't fallen apart. My only problem is that the "sponge" in the seat is completely squashed now and I'm basically sitting on wood, so plan ahead and buy some kind of a seat cushion if you want this chair. This is a good product for someone who does not use the chair regularly; but as a individual who games often the arm rest losses sponginess after about two months so your just resting your arms on hard plastic! I would not recommend getting this product if you plan on using it regularly.
