I appreciate the Seller taking pride in their product and packaging it in a secure and safe manner to avoid nicks, scratches, and broken pieces. Easy to follow instructions, although it does take time to install, it was all worth it in the end! I love my desk with the drawers and cabinets for storage of many office supply items. Very solid and easy to clean with a soft cloth. I can't thank the Seller enough for getting this product to me in a timely fashion and in great condition! Thank you!I ordered this desk to upgrade to something with more storage. When it arrived, it was packaged VERY well. The box was torn from the outside but the desk was absolutely in mint condition. I started off by pulling out all the pieces and laid them out. I see people complaining about how the pieces were labeled but I thought it was perfectly fine. In fact I had my 6 yr old niece help with bringing me pieces and she had no issues. The directions were simple except for the steps regarding the drawer rails. I just took a chance and assumed how far the rails were supposed to be screwed in because the picture was not making sense.I have minimal experience in assembling stuff. I’ve only ever assembled a nightstand and drawer cabinet but this assembly was nothing complicated. I’m not sure why some people are saying it took extensive hours and effort. It was simple as long as you can follow simple steps.A few complaints about assembly:-the white drawer rails are actually imprinted with lettering but at first glance you can’t tell. I put the wrong one in but I caught it right after and was able to correct the issue.-Like everyone has suggested, I believe the keyboard step shouldn’t have been left towards the end. After the whole desk was finished, the keyboard would not go in to the space. It took a lot of effort and finally it was forced into the rails and because of that it doesn’t slide out smoothly. It takes some effort to pull the keyboard tray out but I really didn’t want to have to disassemble the desk just to fix the keyboard tray.-the right side door was giving me a hard time when closing. The bottom of the door seemed to rub really hard against the desk and would require that I push it in. However, the issue went away literally hours after. Now there is absolutely no friction or resistance when closing the door but when it’s opened the brackets make a snapping sound. Not something that bothers me though. Now some features I love about this desk:-the storage space! So great. I saw one review that suggested you can’t adjust the rods in the filing cabinet after putting them on but I assure you it’s totally easy.- the finish of the desk looks like it’s a really high end desk- the spaces between the desk and cabinets allow for storage of an Xbox or PS4 so they have a good amount of room for extra storage.- the drawers are deep and allow for various items to be placed inside along with drawer organizers etc. Some things i don’t appreciate;- as many have mentioned, this isn’t a computer desk. There’s no openings for cables or for ventilation for PC’s. I assume this can be easily fixed by cutting a hole through the back or just not putting the backing on the door cabinet.- the feet on this desk are colored plastic. I was expecting something metal since even my cheaper small desk had metal parts. The handles on this desk are also colored plastic. However I came to appreciate the plastic feet on the desk because it made it so much easier to move without scratching the floor. I haven’t had any issues with it shifting around during use.-the chair opening isn’t very spacious. Someone suggested it was spacious enough for a gaming chair but my small chair with arms does not fit into the area at all. This isn’t an issue if you have an armless chair.Overall I’m satisfied with this desk. Despite some of my complaints, the pros of this desk far outweigh the cons. After using this desk for a few weeks, I'm overall happy with the purchase, and glad I bought it, and would probably buy it again knowing the few faults I would have now. I have a very specific and somewhat niche set of desires for my desk, which led me to this purchase. In short, I was looking for a sturdy desk without an overly flashy design at an affordable price, and I couldn't have hoped for any better.I mostly bought this desk because of its supposed weight capacity, and because of how sturdy it looked. I have an old Trinitron monitor I use for everyday gaming that weighs around 75 lbs, and this desk supports it in the middle with no concerns. I'd say its sturdiness isn't at any question. The cabinets and drawers are pretty damn good too. Fit almost perfectly, if you take your time and follow the instructions. The space between them and the desktop are perfect for fitting consoles, such as my PS4 which has a nice little pocket now where its out of the way when I don't need it. The surface of the desk quite clearly has some paneling which has started to chip off (in the areas of frequent activity), but it's almost unnoticeable and doesn't take away from the desk at all. In short, I'd say the desk has a good construction, and the drawers and cabinet are enough for me to place the mess that was my old desk. Just beware that it's all pictures and will take a while, but it's clear enough for a guy like me that doesn't do work like this can follow, so take your time and it'll come out great.I only have a few gripes with the design of the desk. Firstly, and most importantly in my opinion due to its marketing, there isn't a cables hole in the back panel. If you have an idea of handy work, It wouldn't be impossible to make one yourself, but it doesn't make it convenient for the rest of us. My cables fit around the desk though, so for me this is only a minor complaint. Secondly, albeit most of the other fixtures on this desk are metal, the feet are plastic, and actually feel quite cheap. I understand it's so it doesn't scratch floors, but it just felt lazy in my eyes. They at least match the appearance of the metal, so none of the style is at odds. Lastly, the leg space is too narrow to store the average office chair under being only 23.5". My chair at its widest is 24" so maybe yours will fit under, but this was just a personal oversight that cost me a bit of space in my bedroom, which I am not too upset over considering the overall quality of the desk. So what do I think? Well, I don't regret my purchase, and for $266 or so dollars I'd buy it again. If it can support a CRT like my behemoth, its sturdy. If you enjoy simple but elegant designs, it's exactly what you're looking for. Just make sure you really take into consideration EVERYTHING about how you'll use a desk down to how you'll sit in it, and it should make a purchase easier. My desires may not be as relevant as yours, so a lighter/cheaper desk may be fine, but if weight bearing is an issue for you this one reigns as king and is the best for your buck.
