After less than a year, the lean forward/lean back function totally broke. This is strange because, once I set the chair into the position I felt most comfortable with, I NEVER adjusted it ever again but, for some reason, I sat down in the chair last night and heard a crunching sound followed by the chair lurching forward. The metal simply gave way and rendered the leaning function of the chair completely useless.I'm of the mind that a chair costing me $200-plus should probably last a little longer than 10 months — but here we are.I ordered 2 of these chairs in White. I like them, they look very nice and are decently comfortable. I like the high back. The only con is that they are lower than your average office chair..I am 5'7'' and I feel that I have to reach up to the desk to reach the key board and with our old standard height chair, that was not the case, I was able to comfortably rest my arms on the desk. Other than that, the chair is fine. This chair is beautiful and the padding is good. I am only giving it 3 stars because it actually gave me lower back pain, but I do have a mild bulge disc issue. I think this chair will be a great addition for people who does not have back issues and will be using it occasionally. It's not ergonomically suited for me. It was to big for me and I am 5'5, but great for my husband who is 6'5. My only gripe is that I wish the upper back can be adjusted so that it can tilt forward for proper support. There is a tilt function, but it's more for leaning back or rocking back and forth. One of the chair arms have rust.Overall, this is a very nice chair for the price. If it went just a little bit higher, I would probably give it five stars. But even in it's highest position, it still sits pretty low. I'm really wishing it were even 1 or 2 inches taller, which would be ideal. Sitting height is a hard thing to measure a head of time, but the height range capability falls just a tad short.Good chair - foam padding is a little thin, but well constructed. What I did not like about it is that it was low - the chair does not go up to the normal height of average chairs. It is about 3 inches short of the normal height of your average desk rolling chairs.Other than that, it looks and feels good. But again, I might have to buy a pad to seat on to bring up the height a little bit.Just put this chair together to replace an older chair that had fallen apart. It is quite an attractive chair. My biggest gripe is the height. Even at the tallest setting it is a low chair. By comparison the lowest setting on my old chair is about the same as the highest setting of this one. It will work for my home office that gets occasional use but would not recommend for a dedicated office chair. It is a nice Desk chair. It was relatively easy to put togetherVery good quality chair. Installation is a breeze, took me 5 min. The thickness of the chair is just about right to give you enough support without the stiffness like other similar chairs do. It looks very modern with a touch of luxurious feeling while not having the bulkiness of an executive chair. Overall very satisfied. The price I paid is a steal comparing to the quality I got. Highly recommended. Please Contact me... Missing Parts.assis comme sur un nuage très satisfaiteTHIS is what i WANT! its really pretty!sososo good!!!best ever
